Meet The Team

Well this is the team who are going to be making sure our work is going onto the blog. You can see from this picture what a dedicated lot they are. They will be looking out for great writing and other school work.

Pirates

This term the children are learning about pirates. They have already started their art work. Stories will be appearing here soon.

                    

          

Around the School

I had a lovely three days at St Mary's and the children were incredibly enthusiastic about the topic. Here are a few pics of the surrounding countryside. It was overcast but I really enjoyed the wait for my train.

 

I must admit the weather had been beautiful during my stay, the picture below was taken on the Saturday

Chester Zoo

Another trip we had this year was one to Chester Zoo. Here is a quick recount by two year 3 and 4 children

Thursday 13th June

On Tuesday we had to be at school for 8:30 and Miss cook told us to go the toilet and get into partners and then the teachers told us to get our bags and then they told us our groups. Then we got  on the bus and then we set of to Chester Zoo. On the bus we  were singing and talking and it was bumpy and it was long. When we got there we got of the bus and we were meeting Clunbury at Chester Zoo. We got in we were put into groups with Clunbury and then we set of to see the animals. After we saw  loads of animals we had lunch. A after we had lunch we went around again in case we missed some animals and shore enough we had. After we saw everything we had to rush to get back to school.

   
       

                                                              

      

Making Chocolate

In the Autumn Term we started our topic about Chocolate. This was a fantastic topic here are some of our pictures as we made our own chocolates
